manta-festing flying away
Thought Process: Whenever I saw images or videos of manta rays, I’d always be amazed at how they look like they’re flying. I aimed to capture this graceful nature through the use of movement in my design. While browsing through pinterest I came across the cartilage structure of manta ray skeletons. Seeing it creeped me out while intriguing me. I want to capture that unsettling feeling of wanting to look away but at the same time not being able to with the punk robotic elements taking over the manta rays’ anatomies.
